کەناڵ8 دامەزراوەیەکی میدیایی سەربەخۆ و هاوچەرخە، ساڵی 2023 لە هەرێمی کوردستان دادەمەزرێت و ناوەندی سەرەکیی کەناڵەکە لە شاری سلێمانییە کە بە پایتەختی رۆشنبیری ناسراوە. لە رێگەی دوو کەناڵی تەلەڤزیۆنی بە زمانەکانی کوردی و عەرەبی، دیجیتاڵ بە زمانەکانی (کوردیی ناوەند و کورمانجیی سەروو، ئینگلیزی، عەرەبی، تورکی و فارسی)، رادیۆ و سەنتەری توێژینەوەوە لە بەرزترین ئاستی پیشەییبوون و پێشکەوتنە تەکنەلۆجییەکانەوە بەرهەمە رۆژنامەوانی و زانستییەکانی پێشکەش دەکات.

‎کەناڵ8 بە بیرکردنەوەیەکی جیهانی و دوور لە هەموو سنووربەندییەکی سیاسی، ئاینی و جوگرافییەوە زۆرترین زانیاریی پشتڕاستکراو و دوور لە لایەنگریی پێشکەشی وەرگرانی دەکات. راستگۆیی لە گەیاندن و بێلایەنیی لە گێڕانەوەدا بە ئەرکی خۆی دەزانێت و دەیەوێت بینەر، بیسەر و خوێنەرەکانی نوێترین هەواڵ و زۆرترین زانیارییان لە تەواوی جیهانەوە پێبگات.

‎گەشتی کەناڵ8 لە سێبەری چیاکانی سلێمانییەوە دەستپێدەکات و بەناو وڵاتی دوو رووباردا تێدەپەڕێت، ئێستا و رابردوو پێکەوە گرێدەدات و بەمێژوویەکی پڕ لە شکۆمەندییەوە سنوورەکانی جیهان دەبڕێت. دەنگ بە بێدەنگەکان دەبەخشێتەوە و چیرۆکی نەگێڕدراوەی ئەوانیتر بەگوێی جیهاندا دەدات. لە کەناڵ8 هەموو هەوڵەکان لەپێناو ژیانێکدایە کە دەکرێت باشتربێت و داهاتوویەک کە دەتوانرێت گەشتر بێت.
